Makeup Organization
I love makeup, and as a result, I have a lot of it. I used to organize it in a train case, but in our current bathroom there is no counter space to hold the big case. So I have been using a little makeup bag to hold my favorite things. It was just sitting on the counter, and most of the time the makeup was spilling out of it. Messy, and I had to dig through the bag to find what I wanted. So here is what I came up with! (With the help of Pinterest)
My new make up organization! I spray painted an old cookie sheet with gold metalic paint, and hot glued a bow at the top (I love bows). Then I put adhesive magnets on my makeup and arranged them! Side note: Check to make sure the cookie sheet is actually magnetic. Some are not.
I needed a container for my brushes, mascara, etc so I put them in a martini glass. I will see how stable this is and I might go get a square vase to replace it, we'll see.
I love how this turned out and it definitely is so much easier to see my make up and get what I want. Plus, it's pretty!

Wall Letters
I recently had the exciting task of choosing the decorating scheme of our living room. We painted two of the walls a blue, green, grey color that I love. And we have a tan couch and chair. But it was really at a point where I needed to decide where we were going with the decoration. So I decided to have the wall be the main color, and then the rest of the decorations would be neutrals (cream, brown, gold, tan) Here is the color scheme I was invisioning.
So with this in mind, I started putting things on the wall. And here is one of the diy things that I made!
